Ash dieback inspired gallery

These drawings are made up of a rust print (3-4 prints made of each area, each unique), ink, gunpowder, burning and gold leaf.

The holes burnt out of these maps mark the locations of the ash trees in the landscape and show the devastating impact their loss to ash-dieback will have.

There is a glimmer of hope that 5-10% of the trees will survive due to genetic diversity, which is depicted by some tree locations picked out in gold leaf.
